I arrived at the Ponferra Pilgrim refuge. I was told they didn't have beds and I would have to sleep outside. I told them I needed to go buy a sleeping bag. A man named Vladimir came up to me and offered to give me his sleeping bag. When I asked him where he would be tomorrow morning to give it back, he said I could keep it for my journey. When I asked for his address to send it to him he said it was a gift.
