The first albergue

I have already written about Vladimir. It turns out he's a volunteer here. The albergue is free, hosted by the local township and paid for exclusively with donations from visiting pilgrims. All the people here are volunteers, really sweet people.

The center can house 180 people and there are 250+ here tonight. I am one of the ones who is over the 180 and I have to sleep outside. Nobody said the life of a pilgrim was easy. Now if it can only hold off from raining.

There are people from everywhere here. There are families, young, old, male female. Its remarkable. Its going to be lights out soon.
